With Espoir "Hope" I associate thoughts
in times that every single person
directs towards the present,
following traces of the past and
looking into an uncertain future.
In times of pain and suffering, anger
and grief, oppression, war and peace,
it is hope that grows within us.
In colors, textures and contrasts,
I try to bring this feeling of hope within
me onto the canvas with my work.
